Jukai Ceremony at SMZ June 3rd

We will be having our first jukai ceremony at Still Mind Zendo on June 3rd. Jukai is the formal receiving of the precepts in the zen tradition. There are several SMZ students who are receiving the precepts this year. Sinclair Shinryu Thomson, dharma holder and zen priest from the Village Zendo has been working with the participants over the course of the year and will act as preceptor for the ceremony.

Please call the zendo for more information 212-414-3128

For more information about jukai please speak to either of our sensei.
